Taking your child out of school early so he can watch the Park High Rangers soccer team win should be a valid excuse for school absence. Add in a stop at Hungry Mexican Salsa & Taco Shop in Livingston, and it's as good as a doctor's note - “had to cure hunger.”
Works for me.
I did both on Friday. I picked William up from school an hour early (he skipped study hall), and we stopped off at the Hungry Mexican for tacos before watching the Rangers, SPOILER ALERT, defeat the Lockwood Lions at McLeod Field.
The Hungry Mexican is a small taco restaurant on 11th Street, just off Park Street. Owned by husband and wife Ken Reynolds and Sharon Fagan-Reynolds, the Hungry Mexican (https://hungrymexican.com/) has served folks tacos for over a decade.
