We had a blast covering your stories this year. True, there were moments of sadness, but that’s how life is. Not all stories can be about Unicorns and cotton candy. But for the most part, 2024 was a year of fun storytelling and new experiences.

Going through the year’s worth of stories has been interesting, but it’s still somewhat hard to believe that the Dugout is published daily by a guy who relies, on one hand, to punch out his words. These stories are in no particular order we just felt they were significant until you reach the final three; not only our favorites but we think they represent the Top Three Stories that the Dugout wrote about.

Would I rather be watching a Cubs game, well yeah, but they don’t play baseball year-round. Speaking of there’s no better way to lead us off than the Park High Rangers Baseball Team.
