Tuesday night, the Livingston City Commission voted unanimously to approve not one but two salary increases for City Manager Grant Gager during the City Commission Meeting.
Recently there had been a lot of chatter on Facebook about Gager’s potential raise yet there were only two comments by community members who chose to attend the meeting personally and three more comments from Livingston residents who attended the meeting via Zoom.
The five community members who spoke up were against Gager’s new contract.
Gager currently receives a yearly salary of $160,000. The first raise will take effect immediately and bring Gager’s pay to $180,000 with the second increase taking effect on November 1, 2025, to $195,000 per the contract.
